For the first time ever, Massachusetts will play host to the 2008 NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championships. The three-day event will be held at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro Massachusetts from May 24-26, 2008 and is expected to draw in excess of 125,000 fans over the three-day span. The event features the National Division I Men’s Semi Finals on Saturday, the Men’s Division II & III Finals on Sunday with the Men’s Division I Finals on Monday, and Memorial Day. This is the only Men’s NCAA Championship, which hosts all three Division Championships at one site. Last years division I final at Ravens Stadium in Baltimore drew over 45,000 fans and this years ticket sales have exceeded the 2007 sales through the same period last year and are expected to break last years record for each of the three days.
